Our organization is a true Basketball Academy & Club for both
Boys and Girls who wish to learn individual basketball skills, become a member of a team, play in tournaments, attend a camp/clinic,
or just be part of a basketball club.
Basketball is a difficult multi-skill game, requiring players to master numerous individual
skills in order to participate at the highest level. These skills take months to master and can only be accomplished with
expert instruction and practice. What that, our academy offers skill development and team participation year-round. Included
in our programs are:
- Weekly Skills Development Training
and Drills
- Team Practices w/ Skilled Coaches
- Leagues for Individuals and Complete Teams
- Tournaments (including AAU & NCAA Exposure events)
- Camps & Shooting Clinics
- All Grades 5th-12th for Boys & Girls

Our
Phylosophy: It is the
belief of our staff that many players are playing too many games and not receiving enough team instruction and individual skill
development. Many players participate in 100-150 games a year; yet spend little or no time on getting better through training.
Contrary to popular belief, playing games is more of a test of preparation than actual instruction. We believe that a developmental
model consisting of three independent yet integral parts will help the player achieve their true 100% as a player. These parts must be balanced and are as follows:
- Individual Skill Development: Basketball is high skill game, maybe the one team sport that requires the greatest amount of
individual skill to be successful. This is a beautiful game that requires tremendous hand-eye coordination, vision, foot
work, passing, dribbling, shooting, defending, rebounding, while moving forward, backward, side-to-side and vertically. With
that, we have taken the model of the Nike Skills Academy for individual skills development. We want our
players to be skilled at all areas of the game. Skilled players will dominate unskilled players and skills are more important
that any set play or strategy.
- Team
Practice: Basketball is a team game and the
power of five skilled players working together is when this sport really shines and is played at its best. Without a team working together,
high-skilled individuals will be quickly be targeted by apposing coaches and their skills minimized. Practice, as a team to
get on the same page, is how players can run sets, break presses, get the ball in play, attack on defense, and so forth.
- Teams Games: The games are the test and measuring stick. We will try to win every game, while maintaining
the goals and values of our club. We see the games as the ultimate teaching opportunity. Remember, we are trying to build players
and the primary goal is to teach/coach. Few people will remember the outcome the non-high school games. Many cannot remember
the games they played over a tournament weekend. However, they will remember the Experience and the Lessons, over time. That
is why we focus on these areas, specifically.
